Burn That Body
Summer’s a comin’. But before you get your undies in a bundle, chillax — because there’s a simple way to get toned and tight before you’ve got to sport that bikini.
Yes, it’s going to take hard work and dedication. Yes, you’ll be sore in places you never thought possible, and often find it hard to walk down stairs without feeling like your thighs might just burn off your body. But that hard work will lead you to a long, lithe dancer’s body that is toned, firm, and ready to show off.
How will you achieve such a goal? By spending time over in Union Square at Pure Barre, a ballet-inspired boutique fitness studio using a ballet barre, various props, toning balls, and free weights to take that bod to the next level of hotness.
Fifty-five minutes later, after strengthening sequences working everything from abs to glutes, we feel a little leaner, a little lighter, and definitely motivated to come back for more.
Especially if you’re a beginner at the whole barre concept, this is a great place to begin. Come on, summer!
