Raise your hand if you’re reading this email instead of heading to your Saturday morning workout. You know, the one you’ve been promising yourself you would do all week? The one that’s part of your pesky New Year’s resolution? Don’t worry, we raised our hand too — which was really hard because we’re typing and eating our breakfast at the same time…does that count as a workout?
Turns out, you’re probably not the only one feeling a little bummed about all of those promises you made at the beginning of the month. According to an Equinox study, the third Monday of every January (aka Blue Monday) is the most depressing day of the year. Not to mention that 25% of us gave up our resolutions after the first week of the month, and a third of us will throw in the towel by February. Talk about sad stats!
We’re not used to giving up that easily, however. And we’re challenging you (yes, you, eating the Greek yogurt) to keep your resolutions with us. Check out the video below we snagged from Equinox for a little weekend inspiration and say, “F Blue Monday!”
