From Jazzercise to step class to boxing, fitness trends have changed dramatically from year to year!
But one fitness giant has remained on top of its game throughout the years — we’re talking about Reebok!
When we heard that the legendary fitness icon was teaming up with group exercise leader and all-around FabFitFun favorite Les Mills to revolutionize studio workouts, we were seriously pumped (yep, just like the ’90s shoe!).
Their first collaboration is the amazefest video Revolution that seamlessly highlights all the major fitness trends over the past 30 years! It definitely brings back some memories…trying to master something called the straddle down repeaters in step class still gives us anxiety!
Reebok and Les Mills are committed to empowering people to be fit for life. And since Reebok has been the brand in studio fitness since the ’80s, and Les Mills programs have been sculpting bodies since the ’90s, we have no doubt that their partnership will lead to some decade-spanning achievements.
The two fitness leaders will launch a line of top quality clothing and footwear in January 2014 — just in time to get us looking fab and feeling fit after the notorious holiday expansion.
We have been huge fans of Les Mills studio classes for years and it seems like the rest of the word is catching up! Studio fitness is experiencing its strongest resurgence since the ’80s aerobics movement! There is just something really motivating about working out with a group of people who share a similar goal.
Together Les Mills and Reebok will “re-imagine and relaunch the group fitness category.” Both brands have promised some exciting announcements in 2014, so if you like to stay up to speed on the latest and greatest in fitness, keep an eye on this partnership!
Oh, and get your butt into a Les Mills class to show off that adorbs new exercise wear in their new tush-toning classes.
